Writers Spotlight: Matt Gannon

Matt Gannon is a 17 year old High School Graduate. Like any typical teenager, he enjoys spending time with his friends and playing video-games, or can be found touring the towns around him searching for fun and exciting things to do. Matt likes to watch T.V, but finds himself growing dissatisfied with that sedentary form of entertainment, although, he still enjoys relaxing and zoning out to his favorite television shows from time to time. He is very opinionated, and is rather blunt and open with his ideas and thoughts. To make up for this bluntness, he displays an immense amount of passion and heart. Matt Gannon lives for his girlfriend, Nicole, and is always striving to accomplish his dreams and ambitions.

WRITING BIO
After being inspired to pursue a life of writing by Lord Alfred Tennyson's poem "Ulysses", Matt Gannon has dedicated a lot of his time to the craft, determined to accomplish what he has set out to do. In hopes of building a name for himself and being recognized, he is published in The Cobden Sun, The Renfrew Mercury, and IndyKids, a New York publication that spans 200 schools. Aside from writing poetry and non-fiction, he also writes fiction- more specifically romance and drama. With the kind words of encouragement and constructive criticism of many writers, friends, and family, Matt Gannon strives to do what he set out to do; change lives and better the world before he dies. Matt Gannon's writing is not just his thoughts and ideas; It's his legacy.
