There are three major Parts of the Viking section

  1. Historical Viking Fiction - novels that feature Vikings whether as the main character or as the enemy in some cases, they are set historically in the Dark or Early Medieval ages .
  2. Norse Fantasy - a fantasy novel but which heavily features elements, setting and characters as well as objects from Norse Mythology.
  3. Viking and their history non Fiction - Here you can get reviews of books about the vikings and their history. These include some fabulously well researched books.

Interested in swords? On a recent trip to an armory musuem I took some pictures of a variety of Medieval swords. They also had a viking sword dating back to about 800 C.E. (shown in the picture at left) You can see this sword and others here: Medieval Swords
