Legend of the Mystic Knights (Tales of the Mystic Knights book 1)
by W.A. Rusho
This novel, the Legend of the Mystic Knights , is very interesting and authentic. Evil monsters have taken over world, and they have gotten so powerful that civilizations have been stuck in medieval times for the last 1,000 years. The only hope seems to be a young page, William. The book follows his journey to become a knight, and if he can survive long enough, fulfill his destiny. There's only one prophesied to remove the evil in the world, and the journey W.A. Rusho takes the readers is truly magical.
At first, this novel started off a little slow. Medieval life started to seem a little tedious, but as the novel progressed, the story intensified. It was Rusho's intention to entertain and also educate-to which he did a fantastic job on. The accounts of characters William and Sir Percival were exciting and especially informative about medieval living. Sir Percival was a wonderful example of a knight in medieval times and reminds the readers about knighthood, and the chivalrous and brave attitudes it requires. The surprise ending for William was a very good ending to the Legend of the Mystic Knights. Overall, the Legend of the Mystic Knights gets *** stars.
