About the Show and the Novels
This is a television show that is being produced by the same people who produced Xena and Hercules. And the stories will be episodic with some major themes and characters carried over from the Sword of Truth series of books. The overall plot point will be the defeat of Darken Rahl.
Rough Show Synopsis: Richard and Kahlan's journey takes them through dangerous passes, mythical forest, boundaries of the dead and magical lands until their ultimate showdown with the ruthless Rahl. (Now that's my kind of epic fantasy!! Point me in the direction of the bad guy and let's get going!!! - Will)

The series is currently in production in New Zealand ala Lord of the Rings and there is not a whole lot of information yet released for it but I have dug up a few things and I will post to this page as I get more information so bookmark and check back soon!.The show will premiere with a 2 hour episode on November 1, 2008! My Book Review: In conjunction with the release of this new series I have returned to reading the Sword of Truth books from the beginning. I am currently reading Wizard's First Rule and will be posting a review here on this site soon. Wow, it has been a while since the first time I read this book and it feels great to return to the adventures of Richard Cypher, Kahlan and Zedd!
