What are the writers reading?

If you are looking for a fantasy book to read you might want to get the advice of fantasy writers. I belong to several writers groups and recently one of them passed around an interesting survey asking what their favorite fantasy books are. This is a great selection of books and if you are familiar with the genre of fantasy you are going to recognize most of them. But there are also some surprises in the list.
