The Unicorn
A The Unicorn is a mythical Creature that looked very much likea horse although it is generally described as being a bit more slender and graceful. And of course it had the one outstanding feature of a single horn in the center of it's forehead (thus the term uni-corn) Often times this horn was described as having magical properties and it is this magic that made the unicorn the desire of the villain in manh fantasy stories. Another interesting anecdote about the unicorn is that it was often characterized as being only visible to the purest of young women. This is because it was so pure itself. Although this theme does vary and sometimes the unicorn could be seen by others and only touched by the purest.
