Hi Alyssa here-(Bit of a spoiler) One book I really enjoyed was Midnight for Charlie Bone.It is about a boy who is 10 years old.His best friend is Benjamin. Charlie Bone is making a birthday card for his friend. He decides to put a picture of Benjamin's dog Runner Bean on the card but when he gets the picture it isn't what he expected. He ends up with the wrong picture. As he is looking at the picture he start to hear voices of the people in the picture. At first he thinks he is going CRAZY!!!! His great aunts and Grandma Bone know what is happening to him.He is endowed. He is gifted. Children like this end up at a school called Bloor's Academy. It's a school for kids with talents and then talents like Charlie Bone's.He discovers this is no ordinary school. He makes really good friends. He and new found friends find themselves in a journey to help a poor girl who is "lost". She is been hypnotized by Manfred. Manfred has a talent like Charlie Bone. They have to find out how to help her get reunited with her only known relative. Her name is Emma Tolly but she thinks her name is Emilia Moon. Will Charlie Bone and his new friends be able to help Emma find out who she really is. Midnight for Charlie Bone (The Children of the Red King, Book 1)
